PLEASE NOTE! Due to the New Year fireworks being placed on the course, the final jump before running under the lantern trees has been exchanged for one of the firework boards which is now in its place. Video will be posted in the groups you found out about this race.
EVENT: For a festive feel, this is an individually timed cross country race set around the Christmas Village. The route is ideal for those who enjoy a realistic course, or likes the challenge of something other than following arrows, or maybe wants to try something new! Everyone is welcome to have a go!
The main aim is fun, but as it’s Christmas there are some Star Coin gift cards for two riders who make it around the course in the fastest time.
Fastest Club Member – 1,000 Star Coins
Fastest Non-Member – 500 Star coins

Length: It takes under 3.5 minutes to get around on a clean run.
Tip: Don’t feel you need to learn all of the course at once – break it into sections which work for you. The course is shown here slower than typical competing pace to make it easier to see.
For your timed run, if you hit a jump but still make it over, that’s perfectly fine – and could happen for real! If you miss a jump or get a refusal, there are no penalties in this event provided you return for the jump. If your horse is being particularly stubborn and you get three refusals at the same fence, just continue on the course.
Practice sessions will be posted in the groups the event is shared into, and we’re more than happy to go over the course another mutually convenient time if you get in touch.
